Individual therapy
One on one. Just you and your therapist in a comfortable and collaborative setting. Your therapist will provide personalized sessions to help you reach your therapy goals.
Teletherapy
Simple Practice allows for a HIPAA-compliant meeting space in the event you are unable to make it to the office.
EMDR
Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a specific therapeutic approach crafted to alleviate the distress linked with unsettling memories. It integrates bilateral stimulation during the recollection of a past event, facilitating the reprocessing of the memory in the context of a new, positive belief.
Ego States
Ego States therapy is a therapeutic approach that involves working with your “inner system” to identify and process deeply rooted issues. It involves working with different “Parts” of our being in hope of reaching our most authentic Self.
Somatic Experiencing
According to Somatic Experiencing International, “Somatic Experiencing (SE™) aims to resolve symptoms of stress, shock, and trauma that accumulate in our bodies. When we are stuck in patterns of fight, flight, or freeze, SE helps us release, recover, and become more resilient”.
Person-centered
Person-centered therapy, also known as Rogerian or client-based therapy, adopts a non-authoritative approach, empowering clients to assume a more prominent role. The therapist serves as a compassionate facilitator, attentively listening without passing judgment and acknowledging the client's experience.

In-person appointments will take place in a private space. Kathren believes in maintaining a secure and calming environment to help you feel at ease. She is happy to make environmental adjustments to support your needs.
